By browsing this website, building a proposal or sending us a message, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the site — call the shop instead.

Prices shown online are starting points based on the vehicle and options you select. They are not a contract. Final pricing is confirmed by Midnight Tint Kona after we review the vehicle, and appears on the final proposal you receive.

Condition matters: old film to remove, damaged paint, aftermarket panels or a vehicle that arrives heavily soiled can change the price or the time required. We tell you before we start, not after.

A proposal is valid for the window shown on the document. Accepting a proposal reserves a drop-off slot; a deposit is usually required to hold it and is credited to the final invoice. The balance is due at pickup.

Deposits are taken through Square. Your card details go to Square directly and are never stored by us. If you need to cancel, tell us as early as you can and we will refund the deposit; a slot held and missed without notice may not be refundable.

Life happens — let us know as early as you can if you need to move an appointment so we can give the slot to someone else. Repeated same-day cancellations may forfeit a deposit.

If you give us a phone number we may text you about your own job — proposal ready, appointment reminder, vehicle ready — when you have ticked the consent box. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Opting out never affects your job.

Emails about a job carry an unsubscribe link. What we collect and who processes it is set out in our Privacy Policy.

You confirm you own the vehicle or are authorized to have work done on it. Please remove valuables before drop-off. We work carefully and carry insurance, but we can't be responsible for pre-existing damage, aftermarket electronics, or defects in paint or glass that only become visible once a surface is cleaned or a film is removed.

Film, coating and vinyl warranties are issued by the manufacturer and are described on your proposal and warranty document. We stand behind our workmanship on everything we install.

Warranties don't cover damage from accidents, abuse, automatic brush car washes, pressure washing an edge, or aftercare instructions that weren't followed.

We install shades that are legal in Hawaii and will advise you on your specific vehicle, but the law can change and enforcement varies. Choosing a shade is ultimately the vehicle owner's decision and responsibility, including any medical exemption.

Financing is offered through Affirm and is subject to their approval and their terms. We are not a lender and do not make credit decisions.

The text, layout, logos and imagery on this site belong to their respective owners and may not be reused without permission. Photos of completed work may be shared on our website or social media; tell us if you'd rather we didn't feature your vehicle.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to this website or a service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii.
