Solar control, glare reduction, privacy and security film for Kona businesses β retail glass, offices, hotels and resort properties. Free on-site measure.
Commercial glass on this island has a harder job than it does almost anywhere. Storefronts face full sun for most of the day, offices fight glare on screens, and resort properties have enormous glazed areas that have to stay comfortable for guests without losing the view that sells the room.
Solar control film addresses all three: it cuts the heat load so cooling systems keep up, it reduces glare to a workable level, and it blocks about 99% of UV so merchandise, signage, flooring and furnishings stop fading. On a large glazed frontage it is a far cheaper intervention than replacing glazing.
Safety and security film is a separate product worth knowing about. It is a thicker film that holds glass together when it breaks β it slows forced entry through a glass door or window, and it keeps shards from flying if a pane is broken. For ground-floor retail it addresses a genuine risk cheaply.
Island-specific reasons this service earns its place, rather than a generic list of benefits.
Extreme UV coming through a display window bleaches merchandise, signage and fixtures. Film blocking about 99% of UV protects what is on the shelf as well as the people looking at it.
Hotel and resort properties on the Kona and Kohala coasts have vast glazed areas facing full sun. Solar film keeps rooms and public spaces comfortable without changing the outlook.
Safety and security film holds glass together when it breaks, slowing forced entry and containing shards. For retail frontage it is an inexpensive answer to a real problem.
