A wrap is cast vinyl film conformed to every panel of the vehicle. Unlike a respray it is reversible: removed properly, the original paint is underneath, and while the wrap was on that paint was shielded from UV. For most colour changes on a sound vehicle, that single fact makes wrap the better answer.
It also opens up finishes that are difficult or extremely expensive in paint β satin and matte in any colour, colour-shift and iridescent films, brushed metal, carbon fibre and textured finishes. And it scales down cleanly in a way paint cannot: you can wrap a hood, a roof, mirror caps or the chrome trim without it looking like a partial job.
One of our Google reviews mentions the graphic design as much as the install, and that is deliberate β for commercial work the layout and artwork are part of what we do, not something you have to bring us.

Vinyl ages faster here than the manufacturer's temperate-climate figures suggest, and horizontal panels β roof, hood, upper rear β always go first. Shade parking makes a large difference, and we will give you a realistic expectation before you commit.
A ceramic coating over vinyl makes it far easier to wash, adds UV resistance and keeps the finish looking fresh against salt and vog film. On this island it is a sensible addition rather than an upsell.
For a work vehicle or a fleet, wrap is advertising that runs whenever the vehicle moves β and it comes off cleanly at end of lease or resale, which paint does not.

Cheap calendared vinyl shrinks and cracks under Kona UV within a year. We only install premium cast films with UV-rated laminates, and we'll tell you honestly how long a color will last here.
