Detailing here is not the same job it is on the mainland. Volcanic dust, salt film and vog residue land on a vehicle constantly, and the sun bakes them onto hot panels. The result is paint that goes dull faster and interiors that age faster than the mileage suggests.
Our work runs from an express refresh through a full inside-out service to genuine paint correction β a one-step to remove haze and light swirls, or a two-step where the paint needs more. Correction is also the right first move before a ceramic coating: a coating locks in whatever condition the paint is in, so it makes sense to fix it first.
The other half of the job is stopping the damage recurring, which is mostly about how the vehicle gets washed. Most swirl marks come from washing rather than driving, and wiping volcanic dust off a dry panel is the single most damaging thing you can do to paint on this island.

Volcanic cinder is sharp and does not round off. Wiped off a dry panel it acts like a scouring pad, which is where a great deal of the swirl damage we correct actually comes from.
Extreme year-round UV cracks dashboards, bleaches upholstery and hazes trim. Interior protection and a UV-blocking film together are what keep a three-year-old vehicle from looking five.
A coastal, downwind location means a film of salt and vog residue settles on anything parked outdoors. Regular proper washing is the fix β and a maintenance plan is simply that, done correctly.
